Great! Here's some background...

What do you love most about your job?

Obsessed with dogs, I know it’s a great privilege to be working with them everyday. I get enormous satisfaction from empowering clients and their dogs overcome the issues they‘re facing. A happy dog means a happy owner.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I always knew I wanted to work for myself; working with dogs was the next logical step because I adore them! At a young age our family pet, Jasper the Labrador pup, was re-homed due to behaviour problems. The loss of Jasper without doubt still drives me today to continue helping as many dogs and thier owners as I can.

Lovely Tom, the handsome rescue Rottie. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home 09.04.2011

Trained at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

My canine career began in 2010 at BDCH where I discovered the joy of volunteering, caring for and training the resident rescue dogs, helping to give dogs like Tom, pictured here, the best possible chance of being re-homed.

At the same time I established a licensed, pet sitting service to select clients in central London, under the name of 'Luke Dog Walker'. And after a few years decided to focus on my special area of interest, canine behavioural therapy. This brought about the development of SmartDogTraining.co, which continues to build an enviable reputation in the southwest today.
