Training sessions are initially held at your home, garden or at a secure private location.
Are you still able to do home visits during lockdown?
Yes certainly. At Smart Dog Training you and your dog’s health and safety is of paramount importance. We follow strict government guidelines and the advice from the Canine Feline Sector Group. Ensuring social distance is maintained at all times; personal protection equipment is worn and any equipment used is anti-bac cleaned between sessions.
What’s your availability for 1-2-1 Coaching and what do you need to know beforehand; also how do I register and book sessions in?
Opening hours are 9AM-7PM weekdays and 9AM-1PM Saturdays. When you book online you gain access to the trainer’s live availability and you’ll also be asked to answer a few questions about you and your dog, so the trainer has a bit of background before the meeting.
Virtual training, is that something you’re doing to combat the current restrictions?
Remote online virtual training sessions are available for all services; a Zoom link is automatically provided in your confirmation email at the time of booking. No App or special equipment is needed and a Free 20 minute Virtual Trial is available to test the tech (and the trainer :)

I am having trouble scheduling in a session on the site. Every time I try to book i'm directed to the payment page, but I've already purchased a pricing plan. I don't know what to do?
Sorry you're having difficulties booking in. Please try these steps to schedule the session.
1. Login to your account on the site before trying to schedule a session.
2. Check the email address your logging in with is the same one the package or payment plan was purchased with. (It might be your partner's email address).
3. Refresh your browser, login to your account and schedule the service you require.
4. Try using the Google Chrome website browser, this works best with our site.

I just signed up and booked the Free trial but I think I've not managed to do it correctly because I haven't received the confirmation email?
Just after you 'Sign Up' and choose the Free Plan you'll see 'Thanks for your Payment' (don't worry no payment/details are taken) message with a 'Complete your Booking' button below it, this prompts you to schedule the session, be sure to tap this button and follow the on screen instructions to complete your booking, you'll then receive the confirmation email.
Alternatively Login to your new account on the Smart Dog Training site, select the service you want and schedule the session. You'll then see the title: 'Great! Let's Get Started!', input your name, email and mobile, check the 'I agree to the Terms & Conditions*' box and hit the 'Book Training Now' button to complete your booking, you'll then receive the confirmation email.

We've been looking at the challenges faced with training two pups from the same litter and expect we will need 6 separate sessions per dog, is it best to sign up for 12 sessions now or can we do a further 6 after the initial sessions?
