Always consult directly with your vet to check if CBD oil is safe for your dog, and discuss the correct strength and dosage if recommended. 6. Stress Relief from Holiday Festivities
The holidays can be stressful for pets due to changes in routine, loud parties, and unfamiliar guests. Consider gifts that help with anxiety:
• Calming Diffusers and Sprays: Products like Adaptil's plug-in diffusers and collars release pheromones that help soothe anxious dogs. Dog Appeasing Pheromones (DAP) work by mimicking the pheromones that mother dogs release to help their puppies feel safe and secure. These synthetic pheromones are odorless and only perceived by dogs. When released into the environment, they can help dogs feel comforted and reduce anxiety. Always check with your vet first, to see if DAP products are right for your dog and their specific needs.
