What do you love most about your job?
Obsessed with dogs, I know it’s a great privilege to be working with them everyday, as a professional dog trainer at Smart Dog Training Camberley. I get great satisfaction from helping clients and their dogs overcome the issues they‘re facing. A happy dog means a happy owner!
What inspired you to work with dogs?
I always knew I wanted to work for myself; working with dogs was the next logical step because I adore them! At a very young age our family pet, Jasper the Labrador pup, was sadly re-homed due to behavioural problems. The loss of Jasper without doubt continues to drive me today Smart Dog Training Camberley, to help as many dogs and owners as possible, and prevent the same thing from happening.
Trained at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
My canine career began in 2010 at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where I discovered the joy of volunteering. Helping to care and train the resident rescues, like the lovely Tom pictured here, to give them the best possible chance of being re-homed. Around the same time I established a licensed, pet sitting service for select clients in central London, under the name of 'Luke Dog Walker'. And soon after focused on my special area of interest, professional dog training and canine behavioural therapy. This brought about the development of Smart Dog Training Camberley, which continues to build an enviable reputation in the southwest today.
